Strategy
Tidewatch Command
★★★★☆ 4.1
Tidewatch Command is a slower, thinkier game about managing supply lines and picking your battles at sea. You build up ports, scout the map, and decide when to strike — rushing rarely works, and we lost a couple of early campaigns learning that the hard way.
The interface does a lot right for a strategy game squeezed onto a phone screen. Menus are readable, orders are quick to issue, and the map scrolls smoothly. Battles play out semi-automatically once you've committed your fleet, which keeps sessions from dragging.
There's a learning curve, and the tutorial could explain economy better. Push through it and there's a genuinely satisfying strategy game here.
