Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is the kind of game you play with headphones on, late in the evening. It's a hand-drawn adventure about exploring a small town wrapped in mist, solving gentle environmental puzzles and slowly uncovering what happened there.

The puzzles are logical rather than obtuse — no pixel-hunting, no leaps of moon logic. Tapping around feels rewarding because the world always responds with a little detail or animation. The soundtrack deserves a mention; it carries the whole mood.

It's short, maybe four or five hours, and it doesn't overstay. We'd rather have a tight, memorable adventure than a padded one, and this is exactly that.
